The Ku Klux Klan believed they
could appeal to everyone. The Klan had open meetings to the public and many people came to them. The Klan, though, was really
bad. They killed people who didn't believe what they did. They were a big organization and they were strong, but they
did cruel acts.
The biggest advantage that the Klan had was their expert usage of propaganda, but in the 1920's
they did not utilize this tool. They hired a man named Edward Young Clark to be the head of their propaganda, and they moved
into national spotlight. News stations published the Klan's hatred messages. The Klan had both good and bad messages to the
country.
